Crowd Noise
A site to capture and archive items, documents, texts, and stories related to college radio in the United States.
Click Contribute an Item, create an account, and submit your digital documents related to the station's history, or tell your story. Please record as much identifying information as possible, including the station's call letters, institutional affiliation, approximate date, and descriptive information.
More document types and metadata options will be added. If there is an "Item Type" that does not fit your material, email katejewell at gmail to suggest an addition. This is a pilot project of crowdsourcing a digital archive.
Users have the option to restrict submissions to researchers and registered users only, as well as to submit anonymously.
See the About page for information about copyright. This project began as an effort to gather materials related to WRVU-FM at Vanderbilt University, and will expand as items are contributed.
