This collection contains playlists, show recordings and excerpts, production sounds, promotional material, best-of lists, and promos recorded by Mark Fields and Mike Baronas for their metal show at WXPL, Fitchburg State University, between 1989 and 1992. From Mark Fields: "The Big 'O' Thrash Show eventually shortened its name to "The Big 'O' as other forms of heavy styles we liked (death metal, grindcore) emerged and gained popularity. Also, discussing the show ... with our friend Mark "Goz" Goslin, we verified that the show continued under his direction for 2 years after we left, and that Scott McCooe carried it forward for at least another year beyond that."
